It has a light but I find it a bit hard to use on my dog who won’t sit still too long or doesn’t like getting his nails done very much. It doesn’t grind it super smooth, still leaves sharp bits on his nails, it’s tricky to figure it out completely what is the best way to use it. The light and catcher of nail dust are great! Still good to use, but thinking to manually file his nails with a regular filer as he hates the vibration of it. Takes two of us, one to hold and comfort him then I have to do each foot each day until all nails would be done.. Noise level ok but I think my dog still finds it noisy. I would still recommend it if your dog is super chilled and lets you use this comfortably and you have lots of time for it.
